About the brand
My name is Afsaneh Parvizi-Wayne and I’m the founder of Freda Health. Freda was launched in January 2018. We sell sustainably-made, chemical-free periods pads and organic tampons. Most recently we launched slimline pads aimed at stress incontinence.
What are some of the biggest challenges your business faces?
The challenge that Freda faces more than any other startup is the space that it finds itself in - women’s health, and particularly menstruation, which is shrouded in secrecy.

What appealed to me about Amazon Launchpad was getting an expert colleague who was multi-skilled and knew all the answers to every single question we asked.
We’re using Amazon Launchpad as also a way of educating, so it’s raising awareness that women’s health doesn’t have to be a secret. Amazon for us is the best megaphone.
