Unbranded packaging

Orders are shipped in unbranded packaging, which does not contain any Amazon branding. *

*Unbranded packaging is available for sortable inventory that does not exceed 45.72 x 35.56 x 20.32 cm and/or 9 kg. Packaging materials – including boxes and tape – do not contain Amazon branding. You can also choose which of your orders ship in unbranded packaging at no additional fee by selecting ‘Ship only in unbranded packaging’ option on the order creation page.

How MCF works

Send all or some of your inventory directly to an Amazon fulfilment centre. When customers purchase products on your website or another third-party sales channel, we receive your orders and pick, pack, and ship them directly to your customers.

For orders submitted against on hand inventory (i.e. inventory that is received and stowed in a fulfilment centre), both Standard and Expedited orders will ship at the latest within 1 working day.

MCF is available with Fulfilment by Amazon (FBA). If you do use FBA to sell on Amazon, your existing inventory will serve both Amazon customers and customers from your other sales channels.

How Amazon multi channel fulfillment (MCF) works

Getting started

If you have inventory within an Amazon fulfilment centre, you can utilise any of the below methods with no additional registration required. MCF offers three simple solutions:

1 Quick order creation

This feature allows you to create fulfilment orders one at a time via an easy-to-use tool within Seller Central.

Selling partners that want to explore the benefits of MCF
Selling partners with lower order volumes

The MCF order creation page can be accessed in two separate ways:

Directly by this link. Save the URL in your bookmark for quick access later on
Within Seller Central:

From top navigation of Seller Central, select the "Inventory" drop-down
Select the product(s) you want to create a fulfilment order for
from the top action menu choose "Create fulfilment order"

Both options above will bring you to the MCF order creation page. There, you will just need to provide your customer’s delivery address, items to fulfil and a delivery speed selection in order to quickly place an order.

2 Bulk order creation

This feature allows you to create multiple fulfilment orders at once by populating a standard order entry excel spreadsheet and then uploading it in the Bulk order creation page.
Ideal for:

Selling partners with high order volumes that do not want to integrate with an API
Selling partners with customers with reoccurring orders and/or subscriptions

The MCF order creation page can be accessed in two separate ways:

Within the "Multi-channel fulfilment order creation" page, you can access the Bulk order upload functionality by clinking on the "Upload flat file" button on the top right corner of the page

Note: The system will flag errors for orders that have been submitted in the file. The orders that do not have issues will be created. Orders that contain errors must be resubmitted with the errors corrected.

3 API integration

MCF offers a robust set of APIs that allow you to connect your selling channels directly to the FBA fulfilment channel. With API integration there is no requirement for manual effort in creating MCF orders. Fulfilment orders are automatically created when your customers place orders in your off-Amazon sales channel.

Selling partners with high order volume where manually creating orders is no longer scalable
Selling partners that sell on a wide range of marketplaces

Multi-channel listing software can seamlessly connect your various selling channels to MCF.
